PDM urbis (urbuma motors)
Dziļurbuma motors ir urbuma elektroinstrumenta veids, kas paņem enerģiju no šķidruma un pēc tam pārvērš šķidruma spiedienu mehāniskajā enerģijā. Kad strāvas šķidrums ieplūst hidrauliskajā motorā, spiediena starpība starp motora ieplūdi un izplūdi var pagriezt rotoru statorā, nodrošinot urbjmašīnai nepieciešamo griezes momentu un ātrumu urbšanai. Skrūvju urbjmašīna ir piemērota vertikālām, virziena un horizontālām akām.
